Publishing as a Way of Creating Wirklichkeit 1-10
Slipcase with ten pamphlets

To mark the 10th edition of Publishing as a Way of Creating Wirklichkeit, we are publishing all previous issues in a handmade slipcase.

Publishing as a Way of Creating Wirklichkeit (PWCW) is an occasional serial publication that contextualizes and informs about past and future Wirklichkeit Books titles since 2019. In addition to the publishing program, contact information, and advertising for upcoming titles, each issue contains a text fragment about the practice of publishing. In PWCW 2, Marianne Wex explains why her book is only available in so-called women's bookstores; in issue six, Louis Althusser complains to the founders of Merve Verlag about the unauthorized bootleg of his text; and in the ninth pamphlet, Anne Turyn recalls her collaboration with Kathy Acker in conversation with Chris Kraus.

The Din A5-sized 8-page printed matter is distributed through personal encounter and can be found in affiliated book shops. The custom-made slipcase combines PWCW 1-10. Produced by Colorama in Berlin.
